The Opportunity

King Living is in search for a personable, dynamic, and proactive Despatch Coordinator. This role is for someone who excels at engaging with customers, building strong relationships, and providing exceptional customer service, all while enhancing our supply chain operations. 
  
The ideal candidate will deliver outstanding customer service, acting as the vital link between our customers and our supply chain. The role will require making volume calls to customers, to strategically plan, schedule, update, and finalize payments for order deliveries, ensuring a seamless process from start to finish. 
  
As part of our supportive team, you should be a self-starter who is collaborative and focused on meeting team targets, delivering quality results. Additionally, you should have enthusiasm for working with a well-established and experienced team that supports your performance and success. 
 
The Role  
  • Monitor container arrivals and unloading schedules. 
  • Arranging the despatch of product for customers in BC and throughout Canada, coordinating with transport companies 
  • Take payments for customers, confirm deliveries, and manage special requests. 
  • Contact customers regarding delivery date and time 
  • Liase with Showroom teams and Customer Service teams to resolve issues and such as delivery delays, despatch of floor stock or payments. 
  • Ensure clear and accurate data entry into SAP. 
  • Support Global Supply Chain team with implementation and improvement of processes, hardware and/or software. 

About You
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail for clear and accurate data entry into SAP, covering payments, customer details, and specific requests.
  • High-level customer service skills in addressing despatch issues, delays, special requests, and payment matters.
  • Strong understanding of client needs and ability to build rapport and positive customer relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues in various departments.
  • Flexibility to handle additional tasks as needed.
  • Bringing energy and enthusiasm to the role, creating a positive atmosphere
