The Opportunity

Our Annandale Outlet is looking for personable, dynamic, and proactive Design Consultants, who easily engage with customers build strong relationships to deliver the best customer experience.
  
To be successful in this role, you will be passionate about our products, have a flare for design and through ongoing product training, will use your product knowledge to provide a customised solution to suit customers’ home, family, and lifestyle.

What do you do as a Design Consultant at King Living?

Using your passion for design, you will play a pivotal role in bringing our customers' dreams to life. Whether it's helping them select the right furniture piece, choose the perfect fabrics, or tailor the design to their unique space, you will collaborate closely to create their ideal King Living product.

Your Role as a Design Consultant at King Living:
  • Foster a results-driven sales environment while providing top-notch customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
  • Engage with customers in-person and via phone to drive sales and meet monthly targets.
  • Proactively follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and communications to maximize conversion rates.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve collective sales goals and contribute to marketing initiatives.
  • Guide customers through their purchase decisions by understanding their needs and preferences and providing suitable recommendations.
  • Manage inventory, restock product samples, and maintain all sales materials and displays in the Outlet.
  • Utilize our CRM and sales processing systems to efficiently handle transactions and customer data.
About You:
  • Proven experience in high-volume retail sales or a similar fast-paced sales environment is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade customers.
  • Sharp attention to detail and a commitment to creating a memorable shopping experience.
  • A cooperative team member who can also shine independently when needed.
  • Quick learning abilities to stay abreast of product features, inventory, and customer service best practices.
  • Target-driven with a strong desire for professional growth and keeping informed about industry trends.
  • Furniture or premium product sales experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and a professional demeanor.
  • Proficient in computer skills, with a solid understanding of sales and inventory software.
  • The ability to work a roster including weekends if essential.
